Lawncare- As days are becoming longer and the soil starts to warm up, grass will now be starting to grow faster. For the first few mows of the season set your mower to its highest setting and make sure all the clippings are collected. You could also give your lawn a boost by applying a lawn fertiliser. Leatherjackets can cause damage in your lawn throughout the year, to catch these grubs before they cause any damage simply lay black polythene sheets over the lawn at night and when you lift the sheets off the next morning, the leatherjackets can easily be picked off the surface of the lawn.
